ZumbaGold

These low impact  workouts combine music and Latin inspired dance moves. Held at St. Elizabeth’s gym, 1414 South Sappington Road 63126,  every Tuesday at 11:30 AM & Friday at 10:30 AM. Cards and Games

Every Thursday, after chair exercises at Advent, 9373 Garber Road 63126, about 10:15 AM, a group gathers in Cafe SAJE  for card games, dominoes and other games.  On the second Thursday of each month, they gather after Lunch and Learn (about 1:00 PM).  All are welcome. Cost is a FREE will offering. Quilting Bee

Quilters of all abilities are invited to join this friendly group of women – no one’s stitches will be removed. Don’t worry if you can’t see to quilt in a straight line, it adds character to the quilt.  Every Monday,  9373 Garber Road 63126, 11:00 AM.   All  are welcome. Bring a sandwich for lunch, and sides will be provided to share.  Cost is a FREE will offering. Pickleball

Held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary, 1414 South Sappington Road 63126,  every Monday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, and  every Thursday from 12:00 – 3:00 PM. Beginner lesson is included. St Louis County Public Library                           Book Mobile #4

Every three weeks the St Louis County Public Library Book Mobile #4 comes to Church of the Advent,Episcopal Church 9373 Garber Road 63126  from 10:00 AM-10:45 AM.  You can check out books from the selection of rolling shelves that are there, you can return a book, cassette, CD, magazine, or DVD that you borrowed from any of the book mobiles or any of the libraries. You can pick up books that you have reserved via the St Louis County Public Library web site.  And, If you don’t have a library card, you can attain one through Book Mobile #4 as well!!!!! Drama/Family/Fantasy – Running Time 1 Hour 47 minutes.

Academy Award  Nominee for Best Picture of the Year. “If you build it, he will come.” That’s the ethereal message that inspires Iowa farmer Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) to construct a baseball diamond in the middle of his cornfield. He realizes that his ballfield has been divinely ordained to give a second chance to people who have sacrificed certain valuable aspects of their lives. One of these folks is Salingeresque writer Terence Mann (James Earl Jones), whom Ray kidnaps and takes to a ball game and then to his farm. Another is Doc Graham (Burt Lancaster), a beloved general practitioner who gave up a burgeoning baseball career in favor of medicine. The final “second-chancer” turns out to be much closer to Ray. That “magical” field in Dyersville, Iowa still draws thousands of baseball-happy tourists each year.

They obtain a list of lottery customers and invite the potential winners to a chicken dinner, where they attempt to get the winner to reveal him- or herself. After everyone has left and they are no closer to an answer, Annie realizes that one person did not come to the dinner, so Jackie pays a late-night visit to the only absentee: the reclusive Ned Devine.
